adding units help

hello i play rtr platinum v1.9 and i added imperial units by myself from ferres' roman skinpack. i added entries into all necessary files to make sure they showed up in the game. when i go to play now, it CTD after a few seconds at the loading screen.

It sounds like you didn't make the changes properly. Make sure you use the '-show_err' switch on the shortcut target and see if you get an error message as part of the CTD.

The lack of detail pretty much leaves your post as a story to be told and nothing more. I have no idea what you did and you don`t tell anyting about a possible error message that might make it clear.

To use the '-show_err' switch you only have to put this text: -show_err behind the code in the command line

The command line should look like this before you edit it:
"C:\...\Activision\Rome - total war"

After you have added the '-show_err' switch it should look like this:
"C:\...\Activision\Rome - total war" -show_err

Note1: the place of the "

Note2: the comand line should look like the one I mentioned. It doesn't mean it is exactly the same.. Some people have this "C:\...\Creativ Assembly\Rome - total war" -show_err or something completely different as their command line.
