need help with a sprite problem

ok, so i gave macedon hoplites & hoplite elite (armoured) & spartans, the good thing is the auto skin the hoplites in the apropriate colours but in custom battle the sprites dont work but this doesn't happen in campaign, plzzzz help me!!!!!
