Re: problem with starting game
I've had this problem myself before (or something similar) and the cause was that I had not installed into a clean version of RTW.
If this isn't the problem, which I suspect it isn't, It may be something to do with vista, which from your screenshot I gather is your current operating system. Vista is well known to cause problems with RTW and it's mods, and this may be a new one we haven't encountered with this mod so far.

Re: problem with starting game
You may ask if any1 in this forum is able to play RM with Vista.
For me, I agree with LOTK. You may not install in the right place
OR
if it is right place, you may not change "two pathes" in the property of the shortcut .

Re: problem with starting game
with vista? i will try that now.
as i said before, the reason must be one of these:
1.RM is installed in the wrong path, you need to reinstall RM in your game directory.
2.your RTW1.5 maybe not clean (using other mods),so you have to install new RTW1.5 and then install RM.
about the files, the files are working well in all sources.you dont have to reDownload from another source.
i really seemed angry (maybe coz i had a final test that i had to study in one day).dont worry shootie,RM Team and i ready to help you.

No,you dont need them right now,and the Mod works without them.
can you describe the situation clearly?i need to know if there is RomeMedievalMod in your game directory (Rome Total War).
and i need to know how did you install the Mod
(by installer/copy,paste ....),and what source did you choose?.
im waiting answer.

well it downloaded ok and i installed it into a empty folder then i copy and pasted a clean rtw into another folder then i copy and pasted the data of rome medieval into the data folder of the copied rtw and so on with the preferences etc. and the extra data folder i got with the download too. Then i started my game and that came up i tried the -show_err and it said a script porblem in a line 17 or somthing in descr_skeleton
