Bare Geomod is one you can use. Bare Kingdoms is a good starting point.
Another way is to install an already made mod foldered mod, make a copy of it and mod the the copy until you get the idea where everything is and how it all ties together. Then start your own mod fron scratch.
Oh okay, thanks Ishiron, but I came upon another error D: I did everything it said here, but nothing showed up on the map I deleted the things and even started new campaign but no such luck
EDIT: Nevermind! Works perfectly! Now I need a tutorial on how to make that region a completely new region! aha! xD

If you wish to experiment, I would suggest to use my Bare Geomod installation. That way if something goes wrong, all you have to do is delete that mod folder and re-install (5 minutes procedure) - never, ever, under no circumstances modify in your original installation!!

hey guys i did what u said gigantus and i had the same problem with the timber and the ragusa port. so i deleted the resource line about the timber and i made the script disregard the port building of ragusa. then i got this error: 15:28:42.238 [script.err] [error] Script Error in mods/retrofit/data/world/maps/campaign/imperial_campaign/descr_strat.txt, at line 3161, column 12 could not create settlement at script line 3161.
