Today, in Hefei, capital of Anhui province, China, several thousand chinese college students gathered outside local Carrefour supermarket, protesting French gov humilating Beijing Olympics, some facilities are destroyed by the fierce protestants.

The torch did go through San Francisco and there were massive protests, the route had to be diverted because of the protesters.
