a poll about portraits.

I personly am very unhappy about the vanilla portraits so I would like to know how many share that with me.

only thing i dislike about them is the fact that from 16 - 50 they look youthful then all of a sudden when they become 50 its gray hiar and wrinkles =/. Would be nice if they aged a bit more......properlly?

There should be new portraits, the old ones are repetitive and quite boring, i must say, after all this time...

I personly dont mind the aging too much, as long as they arent bald at the age of 16. That just doesnt make sense.

They just wear a lot of the same armor and outfits, and the facial structure is often a lot the same, as if they based a lot of portraits on a single person.

I cant really care about the portraits. It is not important to make your decisions, its just something for the fun. So i think its fine the way it is.

Just add to them, there is no need to start all over by doing them all again. Thats just creating extra work, which is not needed at all.

The problem of doing that is that (in my opinion) they would stand out too much as CA made the original ones very distinct.

Although they are dull they are not on the top of my list of things I want changed, but if they are to get a face-lift I suggest starting from scratch.

Adding to the portraits would be fine in my humble (but incredibly ) important opinion as they are alright just not varied enough.

adding more would be ideal. I personally liked the portraits from the first MTW game, they really looked like medieval portraits of kings. Would love to see those added to the one we already have.

I am not sure how good some people around here might be at editing the existing portraits, perhaps some could be copied and altered to not break with the vanilla portraits?

Beards and mustaces could be put on, armor could look different, far more tunics could be used, and in more colors as well. Skincolors could also be changed to try and make some unmasked muslim faces.

Portraits are probably the least of my worries when playing the game, but i think something should defenetly be done about general's that look like this after 2 years of service ?



Ok that was really demonstrating my stupidity and also how easy it would be for someone with some Photoshop knowledge to create some awesome portraits, if they had the inclination to do them.
