HI, I'm new on here. Basically stumbled my way here via PC Gamers DVD that contained the MedII mods. I was wondering if anyone knows of a mod where the faction leader has a full title (eg, King Henry IV, King Philip II, etc.) similar to the original Medieval TW?
I'm looking for an era mod (early, high, late) that features:
- revised starting positions for the factions in the different eras
- revised cities (better buildings etc.) according to the era
That's all I guess. What mod should I use?

Hi all, I'm searching a mod that rebalance the units afeter 1.2, considering that 1.2 has fixed the shield bug, and that possibily do that and only that. It is a shame for a HRE lover like I am to see the mighty Zweihanders owned by cheaper feudal knights.
PS I know I could simply change the unit stats using the unpacker, but if some modders have already done and tested some modification I would be muctch greatful.
PPS Sorry for my scholastic english
I'd suggest Lusted's Lands to Conquer. He completely rebalanced all units for the latest patch. Try it out, see if it's what you're looking for.
If all you are looking for is a unit rebalance, then you want LiteMod.
LTC makes fundamental changes to gameplay while LiteMod just fixes what needs fixing.
I am a big fan of Candilarious so I would recommend Litemod.
I am a bit confused with all the mods out there,i am searching for a mod that has realistic battles and AI and some blood

Does anyone know if there is a mod out for Venetian shields for Men at Arms, Broken Lances, Fedual knights. etc., or if there is one under development? I believe there are shield mods out for just about every other European faction but I have not been able to find any for Venice.
are there any mods that will improve the performance of the game?
...also i know this is off topic but i cannot find a comprehensive list of console commands and i would be deeply grateful for a link to that list
As far as I know there isn't one for Venice. There are still a few kingdoms that lack shield mods.

I need a diplomacy mod that reduce the AI aggressiveness.
Im playing a really slow paced game with 2 turns/year, military buildings time quadrupled, building costs doubled etc.
Sadly the AI forces me to rush the map, because it is constantly attacking me. Im 115 years in the campaing (thats 460 turns for you!) and havent seen more than 5 years of peace. Ive developed strategies like building a "neutral zone" at my borders, but the factions I gift those regions attack me nevertheless. Ive just stopped playing becaus even the papacy started a war with me. Well, its like in vanilla. But vanilla is desinged to rush through the centuries and rush your enemies as well. But if you play with 2 turns/year, some times of peace would be great.
I took a look through the descr_campaign_ai_db.xml editing that its a big task, to much for me.
I think there are a bunch of diplomacy mods out there. Is among them one that would fit to my style of play (slow paced campaign etc)?
Thx in advance
