    Default Settlement Stats & New Faction

    How do you alter settlement stats such as the amount of unrest that distance from your capital causes? Is it possible to remove some of these completely?

    Also, when I add my own faction to the descr_strat file, the KTM thing happens and the system log says that it can't find the starting date for the grand campaign, which should be on the first column of line 25, according to it. When I checked, true enough, all the factions' starting dates were at the default 1AD.
    However, every mod with extra factions I have come across does the same thing, adding one or more factions to the playable list at the top of the descr_strat file, and they all work.

    distance to capital is found at descr_settlement_mechanics.xml. Just change pip_max value= to either zero or higher to change percentage, the higher the number the higher the penalty. I eliminated the penalty like so
    Code:
          <factor name="SOF_DISTANCE_TO_CAPITAL">
             <pip_modifier value="1.0"/>
             <castle_modifier value="0.2"/>
             <city_modifier value="0.5"/>
             <pip_min value="0"/>
             <pip_max value="0"/>
          </factor>

    Do you know what the difference between SOF, SPF and SIF are?
