Earthquake!

We just had a 5.4 magnitude earthquake in Indiana, and it felt like the house was shaking pretty bad. It was really wierd, because we dont normally have earthquakes you can feel in Indiana.

Anyone else have some earthquake stories?

That earthquake is the aftershock of Putin going at it with his new bride. Expect a few more until his viagra runs out.

I just heard about this on another forum...
Luckily my area never gets such things. The natives who lived here didn't even have a name for earthquakes.
But of course, quakes can happen anywhere. Just watch for irony when my house is toppled in a M 9.0 quake some day.

i've only felt 2

one in portugal a couple of years ago, it was only sensible, it didn't destroyed anything

the last one, was when i was in Iceland, pretty big...some chimnees (sp?) fall off, some electric posts...etc

I have never experienced one (lucky me in Minnesota) however I suspect if I was sleeping I would slep right through one.

Errrm... earthquakes can wipe out entire cities. Thats enough of a natural disaster IMO.

I went to san fran a while back and experienced a 1.0 couldn't even feel it, I discovered when watching the news the next day.

Did anyone see the weather man on one of the local stations? He was doing the 7 day forecast infront of a live view of one of the towns and the background was shaking like mad
