    *Doesn't read links*

So Jordan and Egypt are going to attack Israel? Are they capable of winning this time? Or is this going to result in them just being occupied and massacred and Egypt and Jordan then also become part of their 'rightful homeland'?

Seeing as there are 110 Jordinian MPs, and the King of Jordan hold significant power, I doubt this is really a big deal.

I think people need to read this again...

Just a few radicals proposing something that would never happen. Both countries trade heavily with Israel, and it would hurt the region monetarily to break all ties. Aside from that, the King of Jordan is actually good friends with a number of high ranking officials in Israel.

Well , if a peace treaty was broken you can almost definatly expect a pre-emptive strike from Israel. Israel isnt so stupid as to not realize what breakign a peace treaty and massing forces means.
Anyway 10 ministers IS a big deal . Alone theyre not but as part of a coalition or if they encourage others ...
Also ,its obvious the goverments never have and never will give a damn for palestenians, This is politically motivated. and 7 million for an hour long strike is definatly going to go hard on the economy.

well I guess you could probably expect if those 2 went after Israel Iran would join in, which would lead to WW3.

Ive said it before Israel vs the rest of the middle east wouldnt result in WW3,
America is poltiically divided on it and their troops are spread thinly, so they probably wont send anything bigger then a platoon or two.
Europe is lazy militarily and most dont like Israel, Apart from maybe germany israel would be lucky for 200 troops from each country.
"Hardly world war three" even then none of the countries are actually looking to conquer the world.

Even then you have nothing to worry about, if Israel goes down, it goes down with a nuke or three.

The cold war could be considered WW3, wars don't need to have direct conflicts.
Now if Iran got involved the U.S. would try to get involved but with U.S. occupied Iraq in the way how would they join the war?
But yes Israel would need a nuke to sink.

I wish Israel had a three hundred nukes, It has maybe 150 if you count the neutron bombs and atomic bombs in.

I highly disagree, A conflcit between 4 countries without open warfare is anything but a world war.

This is definitely a step in the wrong direction. However, one has to realize that the rationale for opposing peace with Israel within the Arab world is very sentimental and this shouldn't be a huge surprise to anyone. Also, to the fear-mongers who think that there will be another war between Egypt and Israel, I highly doubt that will happen given the past defeats of the Arabs. If there is a war, it will most probably be with the Egyptians on the defensive.

There wont be a war unless the regime collapses, Its already shaky and relies on soldiers to keep it glued together. Even if they break the peace treaty they would never do anything , If they werent spineless they probably would have at least taken in the gazans.

I deduce youve fallen prey to idiotic conspiracy theories. Its such a pity considering i thought you more intelelgent then some other people ive debated with. If you do 30 minutes of research you will realzie its mostly because of a few jewish goverment officials in the right place , Christian evangalists, and the theory itself that the jewish community has any actual power. And the Americans "Axis of Evil" thing going on . Not to mention that Israel supported America in the cold war.
You misunderstand, its not what i believe but what chag said, and i said thats not right, he asked which part isn;t right and i put that.

Mubarak is old and sick, he will pass away soon and I believe that groups like the Muslim Brotherhood will capture the control over Egypt. You can see in these days riots and strikes in Egypt that are also inflamed by the Muslim Brotherhoods, it is mostly because the current regime of Egypt is corrupt and the people is deep down in poverty.

They probably cant get any decent army.
waaay back 60 years ago most of their force was already mostly british trained soldeirs.
40 or so years ago it was just a bunch of prepared but still badly trained troops.
they got beaten both times. I cant see how they could posibly get the old force of 10,000 men available for allocation anywhere they want either, Even then that wouldnt be near enough.

If Iranian involvement forced the hand of the US then you can wholeheartedly expect a draft to support the soldiers required for military action. Theres also no doubt we would win. Similiar to Russia the US does have a large supply of recruits to draw upon in case a draft is needed.

The problem however is simple. A draft would requiring:
1:Recruiting of Civilians and how many. Beauracratic work.
2:Training of civilians into recruits. At least 8 weeks.
3:After Training the Draftees would need to be transported to the Middle East. Soldiers can go by Plane but for heavy weapons such as Tanks and Artillery, that would require Tranport Ships and those however would require a month of travel or longer. From the Base to the Dock. Oversea. Debark in Israel most likely if not under heavy fire.

All these requirements would put a strain on the US response and if Iran could Bliztkreig Israel then any US response would unfortunate and late.

Europe however would not stand back and allow Iran to swamp ISrael, and neither would Turkey which could deploy in counter to Iran quicker then Iran could invade so... an effective stale mate we would have and that I beleive Iran would realize and thus would avoid a convential war in the first place. Instead they would supply weapons to Lebanese and Palestinian terrorist.
