As mentioned in another thread Israel and denmark are planning to get rid of of the gasoline culture in favour of electric cars and the infrastructure work starts this year, whats more its privately funded and not a state initiative.

The infrastructure for Israel is expected to cost up to 1000 million with 200 million having been raised to date with a further 5 billion needed in investment in solar plants to make the words of one israeli minister come true, "in a few years israel will be free of oil"

do both nations have nuke plants? for power generation or what will be the main method of generating electricity?

Isreal officially does not have nuclear power, but i highly doubt that if they get the funds they wont rake it out and start using it.
But then Solar is best anyway , So its a good start. But 5 Billion NIS or 5 Billion dollars? big difference.
