Default How to open BIN Files

Hi. What program would you have to use to open the BIN files in the text folder of m2? Thanks.

You should make an effort to search the forums before asking basic modding questions. This one has been answered at least 17,342 times...which is probably why it took 5 hours before anyone (me) bothered to answer.

You need the strings.bin converter that is located in the tools section of the downloads. From there, you convert the strings.bin file to a .txt file that you can work with. When you are done, place the .txt file in the data/text folder and delete the strings.bin file. A new one will generate in the folder when you start your campaign.
