Missing Skies during Siege.

The title pretty much explains my problem.

I haven't done any modding, i have a clean version of M2 and Kingdoms.

What happens is when i fight a siege battle, the skies will be fine until i rotate the camera so it faces the corners of the map ie: NE, NW, SE, SW

I think the problem is in Globallighting but i have no idea what to do to fix this.

I have tried playing Vanilla Unmodded, Patched to 1.2, 1.3, 1.4 and 1.5 but nothing i'm still missing the skies

nVidia GeForce 6200 with Turbocache 512MB
20x DVD Drive

anything else i should have included?

Is this a notebook? Is this the onboard chip?

This shouldnt be a notebook, have you downloaded the latest Nvidia drivers yet? It fixed issues in my game. And I am thinking your card is really 128MB with 512MB Turbocache, so your card might be on the low end for the game as 128 is minimum for the game.

According to their website the turbocache is shared memory of which, correct me if I'm wrong Alphonso, you don't get the benefit of the 512megs.

It says 512mb in DxDiag but i know i'm getting nowhere near the performance i should be getting if it was a 512mb card.

I have the latest version drivers for the 6200, it's 169.21

I don't really know how i can fix this its very strange because it only happens when the settlement level is above city or castle.

Skies are usually fine for village-largetown and -motte & bailey-Wooden Castle. Also it seems to depend on the map i choose.

id susspect your card needs replacing, and remember 512mb means piddly if the core can't back it up. Look for at least a Geforce 8500/HD2600 Pro.

Geforce 9600GT recomended

ive been thinking about buying a new system for a while now, with an 8800GT.

But would a crappy card really cause the skies to just disappear? thats so weird, because they only disappear when the camera is pointed towards the corners of the map and when its in a siege.
