What do you mean by "a total free way"?

well, I have never used the cinematic editor, so I'm not sure what you mean. I do know, however, that you can move the camera 360 degrees on that battle map during the game. I think the only restriction is on how close you can zoom.

yea, i'm thinking he means zooming in for those close up scenes. as far as i know it isn't possible during battle only while viewing a replay with the cinematic editor

The battles are the greatest when total zoom. You FEEL it

Again, I'm not sure what you are talking about. In game, you can move the camera 360 degrees and zoom in and out.

it's in the in-game options of camera. Theres a restrict camera checkbox in there. I can see the soldiers faces with total war camera option. RTS camera zooms up and down while total war camera zooms diagonally.
