    Default camp script help

    say if i want to add unite to a kingdom, only if they capture and hold that place. is this rite?
    exp england took scottland counter

    monitor_conditions I_SettlementOwner Edinburgh = england
    and I_EventCounter holds_edinburgh == 0
    add_events
    event counter holds_edinburgh
    end_add_events
    end_monitor

    monitor_conditions not I_SettlementOwner Edinburgh = england
    and I_EventCounter holds_edinburgh == 1
    and I_NumberOfSettlements england > 0
    set_event_counter holds_edinburgh 0
    end_monitor

    Being a novice at scripting, I usually use a hidden resource in the edb entry.

    well it's diffrerent i only want the kingdom able to train the unit when the capture and hold the province. but can be train every where not only where the hidden resourse are. such as swiss pike when hold bern and hussar when conqured poland ect.

    Yes that should work but I'd propose using something like monitor_event FactionTurnEnd and plug your additional conditions on (because monitor_conditions are checked often and all the time and therefore slow down your script if used in huge and unnecessary quantities). The recruitment will take a turn to kick in anyways so it's not really needed to check this in "real-time"

    Also, set_event_counter is all that's necessary, no need to go through all the silly add_event stuff

    Yeah I know the CA scripters did it like that but it's not necessary

    whish here is a list of command and what they do, testing it by trail and error is abit frustrating
