New Legion shields in RS 2?

I'm not sure ,but i think to have read somewhere that some Legion shields will be reskinned in RS 2 ,can anyone confirm this please ?:hmmm:
Maybe its still in WIP or scheduled in the future Roman faction preview ?

Yes, I reskinned all Legion shields for RS2 Roman faction, auxilia too!
And yes, still in WIP, you will see them when we finish our romans!

You must mean that spearmint green colour :-) Ya its a bit of an eyesore but they look good running through forests - camoflauge.

Great news ! what about showing us a shield/week during the developement of RS2 ,after all there will be so many legions shields , that you'll keeping secret most of those
It will make the waiting less insupportable

Pacco has done us proud though and similarly with all the lovely auxilia shields.

sounds really great. I actually think most of the RS named legion shields are pretty good except some funny colours. However the auxillaries need an overhaul because they all look the same.

Will there be any different looks between the various auxillaries from different regions?

Also it would be great is the triarri were given a make-over. They look cool but are very white/grey.

Will the Roman army be powerfull,netter then the barbarian armys,will the legionaries be better than the gallish champions/gallish hevy infsntris,because in reality the roman army was better.After all they made a huge empire.Rome has fallen because the majority of his soldiers left the army,the Roman Empire started to be more peacefull nad they do not thought that they will be attacked by a big barbarian horde(Saxons,Huns,Germans,Vandals)-----Rome has not fallen because of its army.


If the legionaries will be the weakest of all the units,RS 2.0 will still be the best mod.

Sorry for my english.I hope I have been usefull,and making the legionaries more better then barbarians is just a tip.Rome stolen much ideas from barbarians but whit this ideas Rome made probably the best military in the ancient world.

Important not to overestimate Rome's strength - don't forget all the battles they lost

Yes they lost meny battles.The important thing is that they defeated who they attacked,and in their winned battles they were more less then the berbarian hordes.Barbarians had strong armys,but in this period untill aproximatively 400AD the romans had a better warfare.


I read much from ancient cultures(expecialy warfare) in some days and if someone have a question ask it in one forum and if I have time I lok for the anser.I hope that I can be usefull.
