Roman Era?

Hi!

I am probably gonna get my head chewed of for asking this. But is this the only mod being worked on for M2:TW engine set in the Roman Era? I really love to play as Carthage ect. but I sooo do not wanna go back to R:TW graphics.

yes it is set between 272 BC to 14 AD.

the gathering storm is pretty close as well, though u wont have the Carthagian empire available

no this is not the only mod that is set for roman eara with the m2tw engine, there are some people working on res gestae imperiales for m2tw

Yeah it hasnt even been released yet and in case that this is a suck-up attempt to the eb team: look at old threads about eb vs rtr and see if the eb team responds just as mature as u on other mods.

Besides, the best part about different modifications for the game, is that you can pick up one when you become bored/dissatisfied with another. It tends not to hurt to praise the modder when they have done an awesome job on their mod and give critical consideration by constructive feedback with what you like and disliked.

Most of what I have seen stated by the the people of EB is that they mod for themselves first, as they are not out their modding solely for the end user or popularity.

What modification bring to the table is a extension to a great game that otherwise would have been shelved long ago. For that, is what I am grateful to all those people that create wonderful and exciting modification to my favourite games.

RomaVictor, on what basis do you call The Gathering Storm lame? I've seen the skins, and they look like the legions from Barbarian Invasion almost to a fault, plus Medieval graphics. I haven't played many of these romanesque mods, but I don't think it is fair that you should make fun of something that seems to be so good.

If it's so bad, how 'bout you make your own and show us how much better you are than them?

I think all the roman mods in progress are interesting, I think these are EB 2, paeninsula italica, res getae imperiales and the gathering storm, through I'm most looking forward to this one.

EB 2, paeninsula italica, res getae imperiales yes these are good i'm working on RGI and we are making major progress we are making the mod historical but able to change such as what would happen if julius caesar didn't get assasinated
