    Default Playable horde?

I have searched the Forum in vain for a post\thread that might explain how I can get a horde to be playable.
Not the way of giving the Mongols a region and making them playable in the descr_strat!
I am talking about having a horde without a region (like the Mongols when they spawn) that can be chosen by the player at the faction screen.

You can give the faction one starting settlement, but with a lot of unrest so it will go rebel on turn one. Lets say you are using the mongols (for example) give them a region with 90% orthodox population, then have leave it ungarrisoned and it will rebel, then you are into the horde situation where you have an army and family tree, but no settlements. Its not perfect but it is a easy work around

Thanks for the tip. You are right: it isn't very elegant but it will give the horde experience.
I had hoped for a solution via script or descr_strat, but that seems not possible: the loosing condition kicks in before the script starts I think.

I think that the Apache from the Americas mod have Raiding capabilities which allow them to exist without any settlements... I'm curious if that feature can be applied to a faction in the M2TW or Kingdoms Campaigns:hmmm:?

Yes that will apply to kingdoms too, you could use it on any faction, by adding horde properties to the SM_factions file
