Opening Preferences File

How do I open my preferences file in the Med 2 Folder. I would like to change things like Banners being on and the Green arrows around selected units. I am using v1.03 of Medieval 2. Kingdoms is not installed. Thanks

Just right click on it, then open with notepad.

If that's what you mean.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read: 

To turn off Green Arrow Markers look underneath [game] change

disable_arrow_markers = 0

to = 1 This will disable them.

To turn off the banners look under [video]

show_banners = 1

Change to = 0 This will disable them.
