My own personal testament:
For the last few years, I've been trying to patch up the evolution theory and make sense of it for myself, since everyone has a different theory or approach. As a human, as all humans, I'm so stuck in the human world; of popular culture, traditions, religion, and simple savage tendencies like the ability to rarely think outside the box or challenge myself to be bold -- that I completely disregard what else is out there. My entire life, even as a young boy (age 4 and 5) growing up in rural Africa, steeped in cultural and religious taboos, I always thought FAR out. I asked some extremely unending and complex questions such as, "how powerful are humans" and "if this world suddenly collapses, what else is out there to secure us and reassure us?"
Those types of themes have always followed me through the course of my life. I always thought so far outside the box when it came to issues of science, reality, religion, and humanity, that it made me very secluded and friendless most of my life. As that went on, I became more and more dis-attached with people that I can really see no great differences between us and animals. But its also a fact.
CONCLUSION:
Now that I'm mostly free of taboo-related restrictions, I am free to explore evolution and I have finally stumbled upon something that answers my biggest question -- "how was it possible for us humans to have come from tiny water-dwelling micro-organisms?"
And my answer was -- Sperm!! Just look at the case with sperm, we go from tiny organisms to massive creatures in only several months of time. Its not a big deal for many, but it was a major awakening for me. Thank you for listening, I hope to keep this topic open so we can share more info and details on this massive issue.
