I've been trying to change Corsica and Sardinia to aor_punic, rather than aor_greek.
I've done just that in the descr_regions.txt in the Base folder, but this changes nothing in game, even when I restart.
What am I missing?

Welcome, Surgonoglu.
You need to delete your map.rwm file--double click on the campaign_map_delete.bat or whatever it's called in the folder with the rest of the RTRPE to do so. Oh, and also change their position in the mercenary pools by editing the mercenary file in the campaign map directory.

Thanks for the welcome, Quinn, and the fast response.
You mean descr_mercenaries.txt, in both the folders for the BI and standard imperial campaigns? Alright--I've got that going, since Corsica and Sardinia are already in the Sicilian mercenary pool.
I'll check how this works. Thank you, again.
Thanks a lot--I loaded it up and though it took a while (re-writing the map file, I'm sure), it worked successfully.
And now that I've finally gotten the name files to work (had to edit them in both the imperial and BI campaign folders, I believe), I have a Carthage without foreign names and with their proper historical presence on Corsica and Sardinia represented.
And now I return to lurking. I've read these boards infrequently for a few years, but today's trouble warranted my registration.
Cool, I'm glad it's working for you.
