1.3 problem

So today I decided to install rtw again in order to try out EB 1.1, anyway uninstalling went fine and I removed every file that had to be removed and then I installed rtw again in the default location program files>activion>rtw. But now when I try to install 1.3 I get an error message as soon as I start it saying:

Installshield Setup Launcher has stopped working.

At the details I found this: Files that help describe the problem:
C:\Users\Bosman\AppData\Local\Temp\WERB896.tmp.version.txt
C:\Users\Bosman\AppData\Local\Temp\WERCAA1.tmp.appcompat.txt
C:\Users\Bosman\AppData\Local\Temp\WERCAE0.tmp.mdmp

Anyway I tried out several 1.3 patches and all of them do this. I am planning to play EB with BI, is it possible to install BI over 1.0, or should I reinstall the game for the 1000th time?

EDIT: Nevermind, turning UAC back on fixed the problem feel free to lock this thread
