Hello, here is my new AAR for my Pontic campaign.
Quitus had gathered many legions for this campaign. 10th, 1st, 3rd, 5th, 8th, 9th legions.
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
The tenth legion had just came from a recent victory in Jerusalem revolt a year before and was finally back to full strength after some new recruits. It had a veteran legate and was known for getting the job done in the Guallic wars and the Britain invasion.
The third legion was a little shaky, all new recruits with barely 2 weeks ready to fight. A new, promising commander was their leader though, with a sense of being ready to fight. The 1st legion was mainly old men, half were veterans but others were just 40 year olds that had enlisted 10 years before.
They were lead, oddly enough by a 16 year old who most the men considered a "mere boy". The 5th had recently had a victory against the Parthians 2 years ago, the legion that blocked the Parthians from hitting the backside of the tenth. They were famed for killing the 5 cohorts of elephants in an army without losing a man in the skirmish.

There commander was the newly appointed legate after their former leader died of old age. The 8th legion had yet to prove itself, was raised the first time personally by the govenor of Halicarnassos 6 years before, it had no action. The legate was the govenor, who had wanted to campaign. The ninth legion was a seasoned legion that had much expierience with some local rebellions.
Only losing 40 men though, it was still in top shape and ready to campaign. This was the legion that the Western commander would rely heavily on.
