    Source?
"Romans not only easily conquered those who fought by cutting, but mocked them too. For the cut, even delivered with force, frequently does not kill, when the vital parts are protected by equipment and bone. On the contrary, a point brought to bear is fatal at two inches; for it is necessary that whatever vital parts it penetrates, it is immersed. Next, when a cut is delivered, the right arm and flank are exposed. However, the point is delivered with the cover of the body and wounds the enemy before he sees it."

    translation on the BBS:

according to internet visiters, city of Nanyang in the province of Henan experienced a very serious traffic accident on April the 5th. A military truck lost control and crashed into the side walk, killing 10 and wounding 7 on the scene. The aftermath was extremely bloody. According to witness, most victims are Chinese college students. After the accident, the local media was silent, the military truck was no where to be found.

according to Daqi BBS, fourm participant SommyCasu posted on April 5th night, "because of holiday, tens of thousands of nanyang citizens are in the city for the famous mountain-climbing (hard to translate, local customs I have no idea of) festival. There are a large number of people on the side walk plus tons more vehncles.

The accident is sudden and dramatic. A military truck lost control and suddenly smashed into the crowd. Even before the people had the time to react, the truck already rolled over tons of people. According to witness, "no less than 10 people died, the scene was bloody and heart-breaking".

Forum participant ZhaoShuiFuFeng posted this incident on BaiDu (a pretty big Chinese site), as well as many others. However, many of their posts were deleted by BaiDu moderators.

After the incdient, local media was totally silent, local police force had no confirmation about this incident.

    forum members oucries:

hide from robbers, hide from the theives, and hide from military trucks

whent he truck lost control, why didn't the driver took a turn into somewehre else to avoid causalty, but directly into the crowd, without even sounding the horn.

propose April 5th to tbe the city-wide day for mounring the victims, every year citizens should remember thse victims to educate others about traffic safeties.

sad accident, but why isnt local media reporting it?

some people with enough cash can buy PLA plates, so they get less hassles from the traffic police...but often they are really reckless drivers.
Ok, seems exremly corrupt. I assumed PLA plates were for PLA owned viechles only...
