Default Force Gauis Marius event to not happen

Can you force an event such as the gaius Marius one to not happen using the campaign_script? I would rather not have to deal with the files that make it come up, because i don't like to back things up

Nope, Maruis reforms are hardcoded, so you can't do anything about them.

Maybe put that in descr_strat like BI's version?

np - yes, that is what I meant. It is a DS header in BI.

I tried it, copied it behind the end date in a new line right?
    but it didn't work.
do i have to start a new campaign for that, or is it savegame compatible?

if its not savegame compatible, how else can i make these reforms not to occur?
