    Ok heres what ive got for the barbarians so far; a new barb crew model and textures, a cool german chosen axemen model/texture, and another gaulish huntsman also pretty cool. Here is the descr_model_battle text i whipped up to implement them.Screens will follow.

    Ok i think ive dug up what is left of the useadle unimplemented barbarian units, i got a awesome german chosen axeman, a new gaulish hunter, some cool british cavalry, some british archers that also have dacian an scythian textures, i just aint used those two yet, a different barb crew,they have neat tatoos but an ugly bugg in the backs of the shoulders, they stand and move kinda funny to, celt general and lesser generals, they have small bugs in the shoulders but not nearly as bad as most units with similar bugs and these guys look COOL and imho are worth implementing even bugged. ill post more from other factions later as i dig them out.

    thanks everyone. the "orange and brown clothed guys" are the original greater celt generals and they are awesome. there are small glitches around the shoulders but not near as bad as most other models with similar glitches. I think they should be implemented glitches or no glitches, perhaps not as generals but as somthing. same goes for the lessers with all the cool tatoos.
    all you have to do to get the cataphract with the shield is remove the word "heavy" from the model names for the heavy cataphract. which reminds me, i still need to add a shield armour rateing to my cataphracts! lol
    anyway i cant really find much more worth implementing. there are a number of very glitchy greek models, only a few of which can i find textures for like greek crew, which have messed up arms, although there is a greek archer texture that fits the model with a neat helmet and breastplate if anyone can fix these models(doubtful in most cases, ive tried myself, it aint easy, leastwise i figure CA would have done it instead of scraping them). there are a number of models with no useable texture, and a number of textures with no models leading me to believe there were many, many more unimplemented units and some editor at CA removed whatever he found in a hurry before the master plates went to press, how else do you explain all these scraps? even in the text files there are all kinds of things referenced that are no longer there.
    I did find another greek medium cavalry model that has no bugs, instead of a sunhat he has a bowl helmet with a plume, but no texture,however the UNIT_MACEDON_LANCER.TGA fits on it but the texture is VERY incompleate, think ill edit the model and redo/compleate the texture for a new greek cav unit.
    Ok guys that all i got i think, im anxious to see if/how you guys implement these. Ill do it eventualy if Lusted does not but i think ive made a good contribution. so dont forget me in the readme! lol

    And a preview! I think the shield needs to be reduced a bit, but I'll work on it if it's too much of a problem when I get some time next week (I like it the way it is; but that's my personal thing). I've only done the Seleucid cataphracts though; because, who plays with Parthia and Armenia anyway?!

    Okay, im posting what i've done for the download so far. Can other people who are contributing to this please do readmes for the units they have discovered and send them tome. vlad, you need to remove the line heavy from all the cataphract models in decr_model_battle.

    webbird , all i did so far was the model_battle text, i think i just changed the soldier entry for swordsman and chosen swordsman to get them in game to see and take a screenshot real quick, tonight i will do all the individual texts to make them both all new units along with a coulpe of the other units i found. which reminds me i wanted to ask you a favor webbird you saw the axemen unit in the screenshot i posted, correct? well since the germans have an over abundandance of axemen anyway, i was going to make them a sorta all purpose barb axemen unit which is where ineed you webbird, if you can redo the texture to make them look less distintly german and more like your other barb skins that would be simply fantastic.the texture is named; unit_barb_chosen_axemen_german.tga ,also i found skins/models for the old german general/lesser generals they look similar to the celt ones but i cant seem to get the model_battle text right to implement them, game crashes every time i try, cant understand why either, anyway help would be cool. I know ive heard someone say they got these generals to work before a while back but i dont know who... anyway if you could take a swing at the texture webbird that would be awesome.

    Right, here is my contribution to this project: a set of stock files with all the units i have ediscovered. This does not include the armoured guards. These files come with skins by webbird. Be warned: these files are heavily modded by me s greece has a completely different look. If you only want new units look to the bottom. With this maybe people can do some unit cards for discovered units.

    I am currently testing this mod with the 1.2 patch. So far the Theban Sacred Band (and the webbird skins for it&#33 works just fine, along with the Parthain Eastern Spearmen, and the Parthian Cappodocian Cavalry. :happy

    I did have problems when i tried to add the spanish/numidian libyan spearmen however, and i'l get in touch with lusted about that. Maybe i just made a typo somewhere, but the game just crashed to desktop almost immediately after starting when i tried to add these units. :mellow

    I'm also in the process of making a .pdf file readme, because a .txt file readme without pictures is just looks more difficult than modding really is.

    On to test the greek swordsmen....

    edit: Ok greek swordsmen are alright, so are the macedonian lancers.
