Excellent interview with John Burns and Dexter Filkins, 4/10/08.

Ive always found Burns as a straight shooter, people often have issues with him though, for some reason. Filkins is a war reporter, is one of the very few reporters of any nationality to report as extensively on Iraq from ground level, with the troops, in major battles.

Its 52 minutes, goes into the reality of Iraq, good and bad. I hope people will watch it.

Not really diverse opinions. Also, no mention of Patreus' lies. For example, he alleged that the Iraqi government was spending more on civilian projects. The truth was that the actual spending was 1/6 of the amount he claimed, a 15% decline from the past year. Also, the anti-insurgency campaign has had many ugly sides, including support for questionable factions.
