i dont have the file!!!

to change the Properties of some unit i need some file like:
export_descr_unit.txt

but i dont have this file ,why?
(I have other files)

Have you unpacked the files yet? You can find instructions on how to do that from the ReadMe.txt file in your Medieval II Total War\tools\unpacker folder.

i dont have that folder "tools" ,you mean the folder in the setup disk ?

As far as I know, it should just be in your game directory (mine is). Perhaps it was added with the 1.1 or 1.2 patch? I'm not entirely certain. If your game isn't updated, download and install the 1.2 patch.
