    Default desc_stat error

    Children of Emperor Heinrich: Emperor Heinrich (age 20) is supposed to be younger than Emperor Heinrich (age 8)

    Does anyone know what this really means because it is not the above

    character Heinrich von Hohenstaufen, named character, male, leader, age 40
    character Heinrich, named character, male, heir, age 22

    character_record Bertrada, female, age 36, alive, never_a_leader
    character_record Agnes, female, age 8, alive, never_a_leader

    relative Heinrich von Hohenstaufen, Bertrada, Heinrich, Agnes, Leopold, end

    Have you been modding the ages?

    if so...

    this variables from the descr_campaign_db govern the age differences.

    <age_difference_min int="-10"/>
    <age_difference_max int="30"/>

    I thought about that but its not bugging out on Philip of France and they have a greater difference 40-20 and wife is older. Plus the numbers do not make sense, the only person 8 is the daughter, so I changed her age to nine, and sure enough it swaps the second figure to nine. Yet the English king is 50, heir 24, first daughter 25, wife 49, so these exceed the values for HRE.

    Is it saying that between the prince and the other child there must be 10 years ?

    <max_age_of_child uint="10"/>
    <old_age uint="55"/>
    <age_of_manhood uint="14"/>
    <daughters_age_of_consent uint="14"/>
    <daughters_retirement_age uint="45"/>
    <age_difference_min int="-10"/>
    <age_difference_max int="35"/>
    <parent_to_child_min_age_diff uint="12"/>

    Your problem is the name. You can't have the same first name for father and son in desrc_strat. Try either giving the son a different last name, or changing his first name. I'm pretty sure that this is why William II of England is called Rufus in the campaign.

    Having the same first name cannot be it it was like that before and all was fine. The only change I made was reducing Agnes from a princess to a child for historical accuracy.

    Maybe the error is somewhere else and this is a 'microsoft' error

    Ok, well, I'm just telling you that I had the same problem and that is how I fixed it.

    btw...what does the character record for Leopold look like?
