CTD after Successful Segesta Siege Battle

EB 1.1, playing as the Romans, after fighting a huge battle to take Segesta, after viewing the battle report and clicking the check button, the game CTD. You can understand how pissed off I got because it took me an hour to win that battle.

I did encounter this before in EB 1.0 but it happened after a land battle. Any clues on what's causing it?

I know its a pain to check, but... does the problem repeat itself?

Nah, I'll pass. Maybe it was one of those rare and random CTD's. I auto-resolved it and fought several other sieges and so far so good. *crosses fingers that everything will be alright from here on out*

It could have been one of those random ones...
If there were three or more armies on the field it could have been the reinforcement CTD, but those are basically random and rare now too.
