Default If the RS screen pops up on intro, is it working?

This could quite possibly be the most ridiculous question I have ever asked, but with all the different ways to run the mod I want to be sure I'm getting the full experience.

I've installed it in my RTW directory, and modified the BI.exe file to run the mod. The RS screen opens up the intro, and when I select campaign, I can pick from all the factions, each with their own victory conditions. Everything seems fine, although I started as Rome, and there's no other factions around me except the Free People. Is that normal?

Also, occasionally when I'm in the unit building mode, and click to get more details of a unit, the picture will appear as a white rectangle. Usually if I close the menu and open it back up, things are normal. It just struck me as odd.

I am thoroughly enjoying this mod so far, thank you for all the hard work you put into making it!

As the Romans, Phyrrus of Epiros should be in the heel of Italy, and should control one territory. If the Epirots don't control that province at the start, then something has gone wrong.

The white box is a known issue (from RTW itself) with no real solution other than to close it and open it back up.

Silly question, if you have BI installed already, why change the default BI shortcut instead of just using the RS w BI shortcut the installer creates.

Yeah, I didn't notice that the shortcut gets put on the desktop, because I always launch the game through Steam. Also, I just found the topic on the white boxes, sorry I should have searched a bit more.

Now that you mention it Nellup, I think there was a single city from another faction at the southeastern tip of Italy, so everything looks ok! I'm just always so paranoid that I'm missing something important when I install mods.

You can close this if you want, I've got my answers. Thanks again!

nvm then, I don't think the shortcuts the installer creates will work with steam installs, since I seem to remember someone saying you need to launch the game with steam

Steam is really strange like that. Whenever you try to launch something directly, it says "Failed to find Steam" even though I have steam running in the background all of the time. I think I know why though, instead of using the game exe files to launch the programs, Steam uses "Steam.exe -app1440" or whatever the application number is assigned to the program. So you have to modify the launch options using the Steam launcher, not the actual game launcher.

Anyways, that was getting kind of off topic, sorry.
