    Default Immortal Raider faction request

As topic, i would like to ask, weather you could give an riding faction that would spawn and attack cities (i know rebbels wont).
Just to make you do some thing to do in peace time, rather than huntong down rebel armies that just camps your obsevtion towers...

Rebels will if you program them too.

Ask around the modding board and see if you can get someone to make you an AI script for that purpose.

There was talk about making a Bedouin faction that could raid the cities of Arabia, I believe.

    That's a great idea!

Some other non-playable factions might also be worth including, like another Turkish faction to represent 'rebel' Turks... or a 'rebel' steppe faction...

I think I read somewhere that the starting rebel stacks were made to be semi-stationary, so they could protect the cities they guarded. More active stacks would be cool, but then you risk armies ditching their home towns.

Its better to leave them as rebels. Not because its works better but there is a faction limit and a emergent or playable faction that has more affect to the world would be better to game play.

What about making a seperate "rebel" faction that is very agressive to fulfil this role? That way the passive ones still control the cities and stuff, but you still get agressive rebels attacking you a lot.

You may not be able to get an official answer until Mirage comes back, but I will bring up the idea. I think it's something we'll consider for 2.0.

I'm not sure its a good idea, it could basically add another faction regularly attacking your borders. And since your already at a massive numerical advantage. I find myself struggling just to field an army to all external threats. And I find that there is precious little " peace time " for you as it is. AI factions just don't like me... I can see where you are coming from, it could really shake things up for factions on the edge of the map.

If you do institute it, please include a " turn off" button!
Who cares if we don't learn from History, its bloodly interesting.

Too much weird stuff happens for god not to exist

Ladies like superior firepower literally and metaphorically

England>Scotland and rest of the world, only the Welsh come even close.
