Is Gorda able to be reached?
Hello everyone
I am playing as Saba and after a few decades found the town of Gorda (middle of Arabian Peninsula) it's surrounded by mountains or appears to be. I searched around the city and didn't find an entrance. I basically moved on but was curious about it. I've been using slashing and burning tactics against the Seleucid Empire while fighting against the Ptolemy Empire. So haven't put much more time into trying to get in since first time.

Nope - uncapturable (is that a word?)
Helps the campaign by making AI invading arabia go round the edges allowing the Saba a better chance of defending themselves.

Re: Is Gorda able to be reached?
If Gorda was capturable, then TSE and the Ptolemies would walk all over Saba very early in the game. This gives them a chance to build up. Historically speaking, Arabia is a giant desert, and is really only profitable on the coasts anyway, settlement wise.

Re: Is Gorda able to be reached?
you can capture both but it requires cheating, open up rome shell
-the button below escape- hold you cursor over were you want to go and type show_cursorstat
it should come up wioth something like this
position 125,133 region 175 dacia or somethong like that
(Random example!) the type also in rome shell
move_character "Captain Opheas" 125,133 and vwala, please note to move characters next to setlements not on them as this causes the army to efectivly vanish or you CTD
enjoy your cheating!

Capturing these settlements means you can never be wiped out by the AI.
These provinces are designed this way for game play reasons and should be left well alone.
