How to change unit animations

I recently played both RTR Platinum 1.9 and RTR Gold edition. I like the shaders and glints in RTR Platinum 1.9, but I dislike the unit animations. Is there any way to play RTR Platinum 1.9 with Gold unit animations. Basically I'm looking for an easy way (step by step) to change RTR platinum 1.9 unit animations back to RTR gold. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Which animations you don`t like? The only changed animations from RTRPE afaik are the ones for the barbarian swordsmen, the one for the horse archers/archers and the one for gladius maybe. They`re all by sig1. Not sure exactly when they were added but it might have been in PE and not Gold. The rest though are vanilla animations.
