Wanton and saucy minimisation of RTW

I'm having a bizarre little problem with my latest install of RTW. It's v1.5. Every time I hit 'End Turn' it minimises the game (and doesn't end the turn). By that I DON'T mean that the game crashes - the game is still running and I can immediately click on the taskbar to open up it once more and everything is just as it was. But it will not end the turn, and it will not stop doing this. It's only when I hit End Turn.

Does anyone know anything about this?

What are your specs? Are you sure it's not a bad install?

I have the answer. It's because Windows is extended over 2 monitors. Puzzlingly, if a second monitor is left on to the RIGHT then Rome can play perfectly EXCEPT that it will minimse whenever you try to press the End Turn button. So change Windows settings to deactivate the second monitor.

I note this in case anyone else ever has the same problem and runs a Search on this forum.
