How many turns per year in RS?

Greetings,

Downloading RS now, was wondering how many turns are there in a year?

Also, is the main download link http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=65725 the most current and up to date version of RS? 1.5a? No other hidden bells or whistles I have to search through numerous threads to locate?

There are 2 turns a year.

And yes RS1.5a is the most updated version. Soon they will be releasing a patch to fix some things but that is the most updated version.

Also I like your name. He was my favorite character in that show.

Thanks, does anyone know if there is any way to change this to 4 turns per year? I know SPQR mod has this feature, but it's acvtivated only if you're using the Script feature.

4 turns per year seems much more realistic, versus 2 turns. Should it really take 6 months(as in 2 turns per year) to build a basic trader or erect a small shrine? Should it take me an entire year(2 turns) to march an army from the southern tip of Rome to the northern most border? sure a week or 2 maybe weather dependent... but a year come on. :0

There have been thread here were someone has asked to put in 4 turns. It is possible but I hard it messes up some trait things and other stuff but it does work.

RS lasts longer than any other mod and has been created specifically for 2-tpy play for the most historical expansion possible. I strongly, strongly advise against using the 4-tpy scripts in RS. They just don't mix.
