Governors and the Candelarius Mod
Howe can you receive the necessary ancilliaries for a character to become a provincial governor (or even the governor of Roma)? Does the character have to be sitting in a settlement once his stats r(ie the necessary military service) each the point that he can be declared a governor?

Yes, and he needs to have a spare ancillary spot, and you need to have a spare governorship...I think you only get 1/10 provinces or so. Check the documentation, where it's explained in great detail.
This might also be better in the RTR-PE forum, or as a post in the ExRM thread (link in sig).

I was aware of the 1/10 ratio rule for governors and the number of provinces. I just wasn't sure if the character had to be in a settlement once he was eligible for promotion to governor.

Does a character have to be promoted to Provincial Governor first before being eligible for Governor of Roma? Or is it the other way around?
