So what do you think is the best soundtrack in a game. I am no expert on the subject but I love the Halo Theme. I also love the Duke Nukem theme by Megadepth and Metal Gear Solid 2 theme.
So what do ya think?

Not the EU3 music thats for sure. God, talk about repetitive.
According to the Theory of War, which teaches that the best way to avoid the inconvenience of war is to pursue it away from your own country, it is more sensible for us to fight our notorious enemy in his own realm, with the joint power of our allies, than it is to wait for him at our own doors.
- King Edward III, 1339

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City
Battlefield: Vietnam
As for just songs, Duke Nukem by Megadeth and Gerudo Valley from OoT.
The Gods and Fighting Men Mod has some good music in it.
Super Mario and Final Fantasy VII(Seven, right?)
August Strindberg: "There's a view, current at the moment even among quite sensible people, that women, that secondary form of humanity (second to men, the lords and shapers of human civilisation) should in some way become equal with men, or could so be; this is leading to a struggle which is both bizarre and doomed. It's bizarre because a secondary form, by the laws of science, is always going to be a secondary form. Imagine two people, A (a man) and B (a woman). They start to run a race from the same point, C. A (the man) has a speed of, let's say, 100; B (the woman) has a speed of 60. Now, the question is 'Can B ever overtake A?" and the answer is 'Never!'. Whatever training, encouragement or self-denial is applied, the proposition is as impossible as that two parallel lines should ever meet."
Audiosurf hands down.
The music is just awesome.
For its own music, Command and Conquer (until Generals) can't be beat for music. Klepaki is a genius.
But hats have to go off to San Andreas, which has one of the best selections of music from across the musical spectrum of the last 40-50 years I've heard before![]()

Klepacki's work in C&C and Dune 2000. DoW music is also epic.
Medal of Honor series without a doubt for me, when I first played it long time ago I was so impressed with that war-pumping music
Also all Total War series' music is great, anything about warfare![]()
“Great empires are not maintained by timidity.” ― Tacitus
Pure awesome![]()
I notice a lot of PC games. Time to mention a couple console games.
Final Fantasy 6 and MGS3: Snake Eater.
Final Fantasy.
Listen to some of Uematsu's piano collections of Final Fantasy on iTunes, and say that's not some great stuff.
