intresting video... what do you guys think?
Ithinkam sure they failed...![]()
it is quite amazing though... reminds me of shipping own priests to arab regions in MTW2.
We already had that video a while ago, posted by a religious irish-american, outraged at the heavy german media bias.![]()
Oh I agree but twice now this video has been used to start a thread on mudpit and this time its not from a religious american. Of course when Fox or some other outlet puts out misleading, distorted stories they quickly get their own thread here so I dont really see a problem with a German one getting same treatment.
Eh, well, what's wrong with saving the Iraqis from eternal damnation?![]()

ask the Iraqi's?
It's people like that that give our country a bad name. I noticed that some statements were cut out and such though, is there another source for this? Matter of fact, where is this source from, if someone was already outraged about media bias maybe he was right. I mean we always here people complaining at FOX, why would this be any different Rapax?
According to the Theory of War, which teaches that the best way to avoid the inconvenience of war is to pursue it away from your own country, it is more sensible for us to fight our notorious enemy in his own realm, with the joint power of our allies, than it is to wait for him at our own doors.

"If the Christianity gets settled here than it will continue to be the case for the whole Middle EAST."
I outlined in red what was grammatically incorrect in that sentence... yah, that pretty much shows how much sap you can gather from this tree. Now you could say this was made by Germans, but of all the Germans I've met the only thing thwy didn't understand completely was how many inches go into a foot. If this were a real documentary project they could find anyone, anyone, who could write it out correctly. And since they were interviewing Americans who can't talk either, it really shows that they had to stretch the situation to fill the five minute time slot.
One important thing to rememeber is, the American missionaries are protected by the US Army... because they are American missionaries. Since they are making life worse for everyone over there, I highly doubt anyone really likes it going on.
And besides, I could find a video that has ten minutes all dedicated to the Westboro Baptist Church and the really scary looking granddaughter of the guy who founded it. Just because it goes on in the US or is protected by the US police/army doesn't mean it's really sactioned by the US. There's freedom of religion, and because the alternative is a horrifying thought we're just going to have to live with it.
Once they start converting by throwing Iraqis into flames and jamming rods into their bodies then we'll have to act.
Granted this will derail the thread (albeit minimally), I do feel the need to point out the fact that France DOES "brag" about it, and 230 years later despite the fact that we've saved them from two major, disasterous wars, and inhereted their strife in Vietnam because they wouldn't support the leader of the north who originally wanted to be democratic, not communist, and even fought a sea war with them in the early 1800's we still feel indebted to them.
If there's anyone that we should make a signature for it should be "Saving France since 1914."
Now don't get me wrong, I like France and I've never actually met a Frenchman (or woman) I didn't like, but the facts are the facts, and to say that they don't bring up the American revolution is just not a fact.

I agree danzig, but I think it has to do with the double standards on the board. When something is bad and American it is something worth criticizing and debating, but when it's something bad and European it is not.
I assure you the percentage is well above 1% for fundamentalist Christians.
Of course, denomination by denomination differs from one another. Not many Americans are Westboro Baptist Christian fundamentalist types. It's my opinion that most American Christian fundamentalists would disagree with the bulk of what these people are saying. They might think that the world is only 4,000 years old or that Noah did fit all the animals inside the Ark, but they overwhelmingly wouldn't think that their duty is to wage a holy war on Muslims and Jews and possibly become martyrs in the process.
However, sound bytes are wonderful for any media, so it wouldn't surprise me if what they said wasn't taken out of context.
That was a funny doco. It confirms that there are just as many stupid backward religeous fundementalist yankees as there are stupid backward religeous fundementalist arabs.
Know that you shall die like whores and the cries of your writhings shall rise to please their lord, so before the sword, side with me in the slaughter....
"as many" really??????????? rather then "confirm" maybe "I interpret this to mean". because that confirms no such thing. it shows there are religeous fundementalists here, but i think most people already knew that, and didn't need a slanderous German 'doco' to tell them that.
sorry Lawrence, didn't see ur post, + rep. (when i can again)
