Patches

New to this forum.... Hello

But to my point after getting my new computer (and 22 inch screen should see METW2 on it on HD ) I have had some problems finding the patches for RTW and they dont seem to really do what they done to the game on my last computer.

It would be appreciated if someone could provide WORKING links to each patch as the majority of the ones I find either are non existant or the actual patch its self dosn't work.

Half my problem is its only 1.3, 1.5 etc i can find 1.1 and 1.2 are very difficult to come by

Infact looks like problem solved found a link of totalwar.com and searchd 1.1, 1.2 etc

Edit: I've also just presumed that 1.4 doesn’t exist am I right

I'm pretty sure you can patch from 1.0 to 1.3 to 1.5 and ignore the intermediaries.

Also unsure what patches I currently have (my Rome is a mess at the moment) should i just reinstall it then add patches

Check your version of the game by opening your game, and going to "Options." There should be 2-digit number on the bottom/top of the screen such as 1.3.

If you have a version that comes before 1.3, then download 1.3 first (and then 1.5).

If you already have 1.5, then you don't need a patch. But basically, the only 2 patches that you'll need are 1.3 and 1.5. Nothing else matters.

If you aren't sure, then yes, uninstall then patch. But before you patch, first start up the game and go into the main menu. Look in the upper right corner, and see what version your game is. Then go and put the necessary patches on it. It might be that you may not need some of them.
