Is 1 gigs of RAM is enough to play Medieval II?

Hi!

I just wondering, is 1 gigs of RAM is enough to play Medieval II?
And on what graphic settings?

Other components:
Athlon 4000+
Radeon x1950XT

Of course it's enought!
I play medieval II on this pc:
1 giga Ram
8600GT Nvidia
3500+ AMD Athlon

The game runs well even in high settings, but lots of soldiers in the field make it a bit laggy

ahem... no I play on small scale. But oddly you don't really seem to notice it much.

But I see notice...on small units in one unit is 40 man, and in high is 90 man...

1GB RAM is enough, there is no real increase by adding more.

I'm worried that Empire Total War will require more juice and doing so will mean I'll have to sacrifice graphics for Gameplay.
Mines about 1.1 Ram

I hear you can get 3 GB of Ram now?

Not on Windows XP. It wasn't designed to use that much RAM and to have it, you would not see any benefit. I am pretty sure Empire will use DX10 so that everyone will need a new computer to handle it, unless the game is using DX9. I have no knowledge of which one it is using.

I have only 512 MB Ram and it works perfect, but I am wondering where to put Kingdoms, I bought it now but I have in Disc Local D only 2 gigs of space.

I need to make a short clean!

I run medieval 2 total war on huge army settings and can have 3000 or so men on the field with little or no lag EXCEPT when you get really close to them fighting
I have 510MB
and a radeon 9250
