Weird faction logos

I installed BI, because my TE wasn't working-it had the "please select an option from the menu" bug. So I started a campaign as the Berbers, and the faction summary button was oddly familiar! It was the "Ptolemaios" faction button! I observed as I ended my turn that the WRE was Epirus, the ERE Baktria, the Franks Roma, the Saxons Roman Rebels, and Vandals Rebels. The Sassanids were Armenia. WRE Rebels and ERE Rebels were Spain and Thrace respectively. I had a few tgas but can't find them. What is this glitch?:hmmm:

Could be because you opened the vanilla RTW.exe instead of the .exe that normally appears on your desktop when you install a mod (the .exe to run the mod). (This doesn't apply to mod folder mods).
I think of it as if by using the vanilla rtw.exe you sort of get a mix of vanilla and your mod. So something like logos would change, whereas units would still be from the mod.

you have rtw gold edition?

you prob installed TE on your entire rtw gold edition (can't do it else i think) but then played BI on that version. and then you got a mix like underworld1 said. i think that is what happened.

if you want to play vanill again i suggest reinstall everything and if you want to play TE too, just copy your rtw folder and install it on the copy, i have like 5 mods with that system

Yes that's probably what happened. If you installed TE on it, then if you try to click on the normal icon, it will start a RTW/ a BI with those changed files. So everything will be different.
