May want to check this thread. I'm torn, because although I dislike the sideaffects on the world and other people, I love my meat. I'm willing to admit my immorality, but to change? I probably don't have the willpower.

PS: Any vegetarianism that is blind or not ideological is just stupid. At least think about why you're doing it.

How are you immoral, really? I don't see how eating meat is immoral if our bodies need meat and can process it. We are also omnivores, so we are meant to eat meat.

I don't particularly think this argument being repeated would benefit anyone but I can't let your post stand.

Firstly, we don't need meat - we are capable of being omnivores but can be perfectly healthy without eating meat. The immorality comes from the suffering caused to the animal, be it in death, in bad living conditions, or just living in conditions that are unnatural.

Obviously, but I'm saying eating meat itself is not immoral, not how we treat them on the way there.

    That is not Ideological Vegetarianism.

I think that eating Animals that sufferd the least isn't as immoral as eating the meat we het from the market.

It isn't if they don't suffer.

Eating animals on itself is considered by some to be immoral.

When animals pay taxes, abide by laws, and don't suck off the national teet -- then we'll talk.

Of course the act itself of putting meat into the mouth and chewing may not be immoral but what the act conveys and what happens to make the act possible is arguably immoral.

Well, what're you waiting for? Go out and munch on the livers of a few illegal immigrant gangbangers! Boy if I ever did see a worse argument against vegetarianism...

Halal is questionable. I may not be an expert but the point of death in non-halal places is a quick brain electrocution (lasting a millisecond) whereas halal requires cutting the throat, IIRC?

That is also the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard.
