    Default New British coinage

Britain is replacing it's current coins from the value £1 to 1p. Here's the new designs on the reverse of the coin.
Why is the 20p mostly a picture of a lion's arse?

    eh?

David Cameron has already said the Tories will get rid of the new coins if they win the next election, amidst controversy over Britannia being removed from British coins for the first time in 300 years

Why are they removing Britannia from British coins?
Under the patronage of Rhah and brother of eventhorizen.

Well, let's see. It's a symbol of morally ambiguous imperialism and is originally a Roman symbol of British subjection.

It is a leopard's ass, not a lion.

Don't start that argument, for the love of God. It usually drags on for 8 pages

    I'm correct though

Will the one pound only have the one design now, not like before when it had different designs?

A shame about Britannia though, but not a good enough reason for the Tories to melt down all the coins once they are back in power. Just opposing for opposition's sake.

    Wiki'd
French was the language of English government for a few centuries after the Norman Conquest of 1066, and in French blazon a lion, without further description, is always rampant; a lion passant guardant – one that is walking forward and facing outward toward the viewer – is always called a léopard. A lion rampant guardant is a léopard lionné, and one passant but with its head in profile is a lion léopardé. The terms describe the animal's posture, not his species. Whatever the beast is called, the heraldic lion or leopard should always have at least a hint of a mane.

I didn't say it was a leopard, it should be called a leopard though.

    I beg to differ

Ferets: Britannia remains one of the few symbols of Britain. Your argument might as well say that Uncle Sam should be banned

Apart from on coinage, where else do you see Britannia? I can see the rabble rousing opposition to push the patriotism nerve of the country just to gain a few votes, the bastards.

That doesn't prove me wrong at all. I call it a leopard as that is the traditional name, even if it represents a lion.
