    Default unit movement speeds

    Hey all !
im pretty new to thi mos like 3 hours new but i love the look and feel of the new camp map. Only problem i see is when i entered a battle and was immediatly put off by how fast everyone seems to move about. the battle didnt last very long so it kinda left me shocked. Were all the units on speed?
or is it just me (not on speed)?

I came from Stainless Steel and DarthAges just for your info.

You can slow speed of gameplay by holding down <shift> button and clicking the - symbol on the time control so everything slows to a speed you can gauge what's happening. I like that in a crucial battle so I can respond and everything looks more movie-like when slowed to .7 or so. Am sure everyone has their own speed pref.

sounds good but then my arrows would look stupid.
I just thought that everyone seems to be walking around so damn fast compared to mods like SS and DA.

.9 actually is the speed your looking for.

[..] you seem to like fantasy then. Also you are not much TOLERANT to put that in middle words.

Yes, you can take it down to .3 or even .2 and it goes into bullet time. good stuff if you want to let the battle flow but zip about and catch untits before they spend too much time idle or allows you to react without panic or pausing.

Again, you hold the <shift> button while clicking the - symbol on the battle map's game speed. It goes below 1 to .9 .8 .7 .6 etc....

    This is a great feature!!

    grass_short 0.76
    grass_long 0.73
    sand 0.64
    rock 0.71
    forest_dense 0.56
    scrub_dense 0.66
    swamp 0.60
    mud 0.67
    mud_road 0.73
    stone_road 0.80
    water 0.40
    ice 0.49
    snow 0.61

The cavalry running for all place must be realistic, but destroy the game enjoyment,is the new animation,i just post to call for help, to anybody change or tell me how to change this,I really dont like those new stuff.
Because I think this is more about the actual speed of the units, there's also the animation of the unit (what type of skeleton it uses or sumthin like that) which defines speed, at least it did in RTW. But I have no experience whatsoever with skinning and unit animations.
