[Win A War To Win A Empire]

Hi I new here and sorry if this has been discussed before.
What is your Strategy and Tactics on the campain map and battlefield.
Mine is prepare for war by building up enough armys to attack at lest half their settlements, give then artillery and then place then next to the nearest settlments, the most inportant and the capital. The I ask other factions go to war with them and if possible call a crusade on them. I ask the fation who I am going to go to war with for money and settlements but NOT an alliance or millatary aceccs as I what them to decalre war on me and when they do I order a preemptive strike to half there power and size in one turn. This usually works espessaly againt a much bigger faction. The first time I did it was as Milan aginst HRE and I destroyed them within 5 turns by taking 4 settlements in one turn and having them at war with France.
