need help please

i have got rome total war and barbarian invasion gold edition,and i would like to play the newest EB. i dowloaded it from the strategyinformer but it was in kind a map i couldt open it. so i someone can tell me,what i must dowload from where,what i must change an install to make the EB playable on my compuer,becuase the rome total war original is pretty boring after you once conquer the whole world. thank you for all your help

First up, you'll need to uninstall everything, always best to start from a clean sheet. You can't use a normal install of BI for EB, it's based on RTW 1.5 (although there are ways of using BI.exe to run it, for "improved" AI).

Secondly, there's an installation guide on the site (though I've linked you to the identical thread on the org).

Lastly, you get the mod from here.
