Cavalry Bodyguard Units

Just to ask, is there a way to change the cavalry bodyguard of a particular character. The reason I am asking this question is that first I had enough of all those Candidati units, second as Julianus in my campaign has a son, Constatius Flavius, which I want to give a more powerful cavalry unit suitable for a Caesar,and third because I want to give each Dux and Comte a particular Units.

unfortunately it's not possibile (at least with BI, not sure about Alex.exe). The only thing that can be done is giving different bodyguards for the characters at the start of the campaign, but every family member that isn't present (or under 16 age) at the game start must have the same bodyguard.

The only other way is to recruit a general which is available in certain cities with the right buildings (Ludus Magnus). These generals have the Equites Stablesiani as their bodyguard. Hopefully then you may be able to adopt him.
