Hey all,
I'm running DLV 5.5 as the Irish and I am in my 12th year in the campaign. Everything was going good for the first 10 years; decent army (not big, but strong), rising population, and a decent economy for the situation (bout 3k-4k per turn). However, after the 10th year, I seem to be having trouble making it past 20k florins. Whenever I get close to it, I start making about 500fl a turn, and then when I get REALLY close to 20k, I start losing money. Once I start spending some on buildings (not army) and get into the 12k-15k region, I make 3-4k per turn again. I look at the projections when around 20k, and it says I should make close to 25k the next turn, but end up losing 100fl or so. I know the projections aren't always accurate, but it can't be that bad?
Not sure what the issue is here. I have a smallish army that I try to restrain for upkeep reasons and only have a handful of generals. My only guess would be corruption eating away at it but it is not being reported in the projections, and even then, the corruption has been my favor. Any ideas?
