Client Rulers?

Hi,

I started playing EB recently and I have a problem.

I am playing as the Romani and I have conquered southern Italy. I build a Type IV government there. However, no Client Ruler shows up in that province. In fact, none of my provinces ever get a Client Ruler.

I have demolished the building and rebuilt it, reloaded the game, but it still doesn't work.

Am I missing something or am I doing something wrong?

Have you done anything to EB after installing it? Any sort of change to the files?

No, I installed it two days ago and I haven't touched any of the files.

Never mind, I think i fixed the problem.

When I reloaded it, a message popped up about some background script and I turned it on. The next time I demolished and rebuilt the government, the client ruler came.

LOL there are several warnings throughout the game about that includes the top of every faction description and in a loading screen and every time you click on a settlement or something.

You should always be turning the background script on, every time you load up a game.

Right. I really think to tell people to see if the script's on. I put it on at all times that it's second nature to me now.
